Our faculty tells us that being an accent reduction specialist with ARI has been one of the most rewarding opportunities of their career. We value our instructors, both their professional expertise and their commitment to our clients.
Four Reasons ARI Accent Reduction Specialists Enjoy Being Part of Our Team
- Project Managers: An ARI Project Manager (PM) is assigned to each of our English pronunciation training programs. This is true for group courses that are part of ARI corporate-wide programs, and for one-on-one individual instruction. The PM acts as a liaison between the client, course participants, ARI's IT support staff, and the instructor. The PM is responsible for all scheduling and program logistics. PM's are available before, during, and after each class session.
- ARI's English Pronunciation Programs: Our accent reduction specialists have the opportunity to take what they've learned in academia and apply it to communication training in corporate, government, and university environments. ARI faculty teach the American accent within the context of customized curricula that meet industry specific needs. Our instructors see how they make a difference in the careers of their learners.
- Flexibility: ARI conducts accent reduction training worldwide using our distance learning, virtual classrooms. Accordingly, we teach from 7:00 am, EST to 11:00pm, EST. Our certified faculty are not limited by locale or time zone. ARI project managers and IT support staff make teaching in our 'global classrooms' easy and seamless.
- The ARI Team: Being an ARI accent reduction specialist means being a member of the team. All training programs are run by Barb Niemann, ARI Director of Curriculum and Training and co-author of American Pronunciation-Core Techniques for Success. Barb supervises and supports every facet of the instructional process: program design, customized curriculum, professional development training, and more. Using our virtual classrooms, Barb also conducts online 'touch points' where our faculty share ideas and teaching experiences. Barb is available to support faculty throughout each accent reduction program.
